we planned a somewhat last minute vacation with our friends because we found some inexpensive tickets to costa rica. robert then found this amazing house & somehow talked the guy into giving renting it to us for the week for a steal. so while it may look an extremely luxurious vacation, we did it on a budget. we did some grocery shopping & made most of our meals at home. and we did do a few excursions, but to be honest, we really didn't want to leave our casa. it was located in the city of dominical & was way up in the clouds. we had the most amazing view of both the rainforest & the ocean. it was paradise (and it's for sale! it can be yours for a mere $1.4 million. yea.).
robert & I celebrated our 6th anniversary by escaping to the florida keys. it was a much-needed vacation, full of sun, good food & lots of rest & relaxation. have I mentioned how much I adore spending time with my sweet husband? here are a few photos from our getaway if you'd like to see.
{we had an amazing brunch at this restaurant one morning}
{a bucket of fish to feed the tarpon}
{check out these hungry piranas tarpon. they jump up & snatch the fish right out of your hand}
{one of three dinners at sunset. the sky was beautiful; the photos don't do it justice}
hallo! we are back from the most amazing vacation. thanks for all of your travel advice! I hope I don't annoy you by posting a bunch of our photos over the next few weeks. there are so many pretty images to share!
{series of photos I took on a bike ride between bruges and damme}
robert & I will be leaving for a much-needed vacation this week. we're going to london, belgium & amsterdam & are beside ourselves. I'll be away from the blog for awhile, but will do my best to post photos here, in case you're interested. cheerio, mate!
sometimes I like to pretend I’m rich & plan pretend vacations in my head. well I’m adding this one to the imaginary list; cruising down africa’s chobe river on this riverboat. how amazing would that be?!
